The Hawkeyes ended the regular season strong, taking care of Michigan State and dominating Nebraska to close out the year.
The team finished with an 8-4 (6-3 Big Ten) record, and before the Hawkeyes learn their postseason fate, early signing day has come and gone.
The program was extremely active on the recruiting trail and convinced 22 talented prospects to sign with the program.
In a rare accomplishment for the program, Iowa also flipped multiple talented prospects who were initially committed to other programs.

According to Rivals, the Hawkeyes have the No. 25 overall recruiting class in 2026, and the No. 7 overall class in the Big Ten.
The Hawkeyes are losing a lot of veteran leadership after the 2025 season, but they are in great shape for next season and years after, following a successful 2026 recruiting cycle.
