The world keeps spinning for Iowa Football. The landscape of college athletics is changing following the landmark decision in the House v. NCAA settlement. Judge Claudia Wilken approved the settlement, allowing schools to pay athletes directly.
The settlement creates a revenue-sharing pool, capped at $20.5 million for the 2025-2026 season. In preparation for revenue-sharing programs, Iowa Football created the "Flight Funds" program to boost financial resources.
"Flight Funds" was created as a "charitable avenue" for donors to give funds directly to programs. Part of the funds will be used to recruit future talent.
Last weekend, the Hawkeyes hosted a camp for prospects, and one defensive lineman prospect stood out.
2026 three-star prospect Sawyer Jezierski attended the camp and immediately received an offer. On Tuesday, Jezierski made a decision regarding his future college plans.

After impressing the Iowa coaching staff and receiving an offer from the program, Jezierski was impressed with the Hawkeyes and verbally committed to joining the squad as a part of the 2026 recruiting class.
Jezierski became the tenth commitment in the Hawkeyes' 2026 recruiting class. He is the first defensive recruit in the class.
Jezerski chose Iowa over offers from Army, Boston College, Kansas State, North Dakota State, Northern Iowa, South Dakota, South Dakota State, Washington State, and Wyoming.
On3 Sports ranked Jezierski as a three-star prospect, Minnesota's No. 6 prospect, and the No. 61 defensive lineman prospect in the 2026 recruiting class.
Jezierski was a force for Edina High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota last season, tallying 21 tackles for loss.
