Iowa Football Assistant Defensive Coordinator and Linebackers Coach Seth Wallace continues to flex his muscles on the recruiting trail.

The long-time Iowa assistant coach continues to add talented prospects to the 2026 recruiting class, especially at the linebacker position.

Over the past few weeks, the Iowa program has added two top in-state linebacker prospects to the 2026 recruiting class.

Four-star linebacker prospect Kasen Thomas from Sioux City, Iowa, and four-star prospect Julian Manson from Iowa City, Iowa, announced their commitments to the program.

Over the weekend, Wallace was cooking again, adding another talented linebacker prospect to the 2026 recruiting class.

Billy Weivoda, a 2026 linebacker prospect from Alpharetta, Georgia, accepted an offer from Iowa Football following a successful meeting with the program in May.

Weivoda plays for Milton High School in Alpharetta, Georgia, one of the top football programs nationwide. During his junior year last season, Weivoda tallied 89 tackles (13 for loss), 8.5 sacks, four pass breakups, and three blocked punts.

247 Sports composite ranked Weivoda as a three-star prospect, Georgia's No. 89 prospect, and the No. 768 overall prospect in the 2026 recruiting class.

Weivoda is unranked by ESPN and On3 Sports, and is ranked as a three-star prospect by Rivals.

Weivoda accepted Iowa's offer over offers from more than 15 college programs, with Iowa being the only offer from a Power Five program.

Weivoda can be a solid piece for the Iowa defense or special teams, using his speed and athleticism to overpower opposing players. He has shown he can play against the best players in the nation and will be a valuable asset to the Iowa program.
