There is no doubt that the Iowa offense line is one of the best in the country.

The unit is a finalist for the Joe Moore Award, given to the best offensive unit in college football, and the numbers back it up.

The unit helped pave the way for Iowa's offense to average 177.8 rushing yards per game (No. 45) and helped quarterback Mark Gronowski shatter two program records.

Gronowski set new Iowa program records for rushing yards by a quarterback in a season (491) and rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in a season (15).

Gronowski has been adamant that the offensive line was vital to his success this season, and his numbers back that up.

The unit also includes multiple key contributors named to All-Big Ten teams, including Beau Stephens (first-team), Gennings Dunker (second-team), and Logan Jones (first-team).

Jones is the most decorated member of the group, earning First-Team All-Big Ten and Second-Team All-American (CBS Sports) selections, and is a finalist for the Outland Trophy and the Rimington Trophy.

Jones is slowly becoming one of the most decorated offensive linemen in college football, and he added to his trophy case with a prestigious award.

Jones was named as the recipient of the 2025 Rimington Trophy, given to the best center in college football.

There was never any doubt in the minds of Hawkeye fans that Jones was the best center in the country, and that has been affirmed with this latest announcement.

The Rimington Trophy has been presented annually since 2000, and Jones will be honored at the Rimington Trophy Presentation on Saturday, January 24, 2026.

Jones joins Tyler Linderbaum (2021) as the only other Hawkeye to win the prestigious award.
