The Iowa Women's Basketball program has had a busy offseason. After finishing the 2024-2025 season with a 23-11 (10-8 Big Ten) record, the Hawkeye roster and staff have lost multiple pieces.

The coaching staff lost assistant coach Raina Harmon (Head Coach, Florida Gulf Coast) and Tania Davis, and added LaSondra Barrett and Jasmyn Walker. The program also added former player Sydney Affolter as a graduate assistant.

The roster lost Lucy Olsen (Washington Mystics), Affolter, Addison O'Grady (graduation), AJ Ediger (graduation), and Aaliyah Guyton (transfer portal).

The Hawkeyes' 2025 recruiting class includes five-star prospect Addie Deal and four-star prospects Journey Houston and Layla Hays.

This week, Jan Jensen and her staff are shooting for the stars and have made an offer to the 2027 class's No. 2 overall prospect.

Ivanna Wilson Manyacka received an offer from the Hawkeyes after a meeting with Jensen.

Wilson Manyacka is an extremely talented prospect. 247 Sports ranked her as a five-star recruit, the 2027 class's No. 1 small forward, and the No. 2 overall prospect.

Wilson Manyacka was a force for The Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland, averaging 18.5 points, 11.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 2.2 steals per game.

She has also excelled on the international stage. In 2024, Wilson Manyacka won a gold medal at the FIBA Under-17 World Cup in Leon, Mexico. She averaged 7.9 points and 4.9 rebounds per game for Team USA.

She was also announced as a member of the 2025 Under-16 USA National Team.

Wilson Manyacka would be a huge addition for the Hawkeyes, giving them a versatile scorer and rebounder in the 2027 class.
