The Hawkeyes picked up their fourth win of the season after dominating Southeast Missouri State (SEMO) 99-70 on Tuesday night.

The Hawkeyes entered the game averaging 86 points per game and have been extremely efficient on offense.

In Tuesday's win over the Redhawks, the Hawkeyes shot 61 percent from the field and 44 percent from beyond the three-point arc.

After another efficient offensive performance, Iowa has now shot 50 percent or better in every half this season.

The Hawkeyes had four players score in double figures, led by Alvaro Folgueiras with 16. Bennett Stritz had 15 points and nine assists, and Cam Manyawu added 12 points.

Iowa held SEMO to 70 points on 52 percent shooting from the field, and forced 16 turnovers in the win.

Iowa's depth has been on full display through the first four games

The Hawkeyes entered Tuesday's game with the bench averaging 33 points per game, as Head Coach Ben McCollum consistently goes nine to eleven deep in the rotation.

In the win over SEMO, the Hawkeyes' bench added 50 points and 15 rebounds, outscoring the starters 50 to 49.

Folgueiras (16 points, five rebounds) and Tate Sage (seven points, five rebounds) continue to pace the bench, with Trevin Jirak and Brendan Hausen providing valuable minutes as well.

Tate Sage has become McCollum's go-to sixth man

Redshirt freshman Tate Sage has been a godsend for the Hawkeyes after transferring from the Drake Bulldogs before this season.

Sage has averaged 6.3 points and 1.3 rebounds per game, but does more for the program than what shows up in the box score.

He can guard multiple positions, and has forced several turnovers on the wing with his length and defensive pressure.

Sage has looked like a polished two-way player through the first four games of the season, and he continues to be McCollum's first player off the bench.

Next game: Thursday, November 20 vs. Chicago State (6:00 p.m. Central Time)
