Every college football program deals with injuries, but the Iowa wide receivers and running backs have had trouble staying health this year.
The Hawkeyes have not had a full arsenal of weapons for quarterback Mark Gronowski to use, and it has been "next man up" mentality for the Iowa offense.
The Hawkeyes lost projected wide receiver Reece Vander Zee before the season began with a foot injury, and fellow starting receiver Seth Anderson was recently injured during the UMass game on September 13.
Jarriett Buie has also not been able to take the field at all for the Iowa receivers. group
The Iowa running back room has also struggled to stay healthy, with Kamari Moulton, Xavier Williams, and Brevin Doll all spending time out with injuries.
Moulton returned for Iowa's win over Rutgers last week, while Williams and Buie remain sidelined with injuries.
The Hawkeyes did receive some good and bad news on the injury front as two players are returning and one is being added to the injury report.
Seth Anderson, wide receiver (healthy)

Starting wide receiver Seth Anderson is returning to the Iowa lineup this week after suffering a minor injury during the win over Rutgers last Friday night.
Anderson was seen limping after an offensive series in the last game and did not return to the game out of an abundance of caution.
During his weekly press conference, Head Coach Kirk Ferentz noted that Anderson injured his ankle in the game.
It was a minor injury, and he will return for this week's Homecoming game against Indiana.
Brevin Doll, running back (limited)

Running back Brevin Doll has struggled with multiple injuries this season, but is finally ready to return this week against Indiana.
While Doll has returned to practice, Kirk Ferentz noted that he only just started practicing a few days ago, so he will be limited in what he will do this weekend.
Injuries have kept Doll sidelined for most of the season as he has only received two carries for three yards through four games this year.
Jaziun Patterson, running back (Out)

Iowa running back Jaziun Patterson also suffered an ankle injury during Iowa's previous game against Rutgers, but his injury is more severe than Seth Anderson's.
After injuring his ankle, Ferentz noted at his press conference that he will be out for this week's game against Indiana.
With Patterson out and Doll limited, the Hawkeyes will use a combination of Kamari Moulton, Terrell Washington Jr., and Nathan McNeil against a stout Hoosiers defense.
