Since 2022, Iowa has sold out 21 consectuive home games.

Before the season begins, we profile two Hawkeye football players that fans can see during the upcoming season.

Before joining the Iowa Football program in 2022, junior wide receiver Alex Eichmann was a multi-sport athlete for Hamilton-Sussex High School in Sussex, Wisconsin.

In addition to being a two-way player for the football team, Eichmann also lettered in basketball and track for Hamilton-Sussex.

During his senior year, Eichmann played both wide receiver and defensive back, accumulating 1,030 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns on offense, as well as 52 tackles and two interceptions on defense.

Eichmann joined the Hawkeyes in 2022, but redshirted his freshman season. He did not see any game action in 2023 and became a regular special-teams player in 2024.

In 2024, he played in 12 games, but did not record any stats.

No. 23 Brevin Doll, running back

The Iowa running back room has been filled with talent over the past few seasons, and that trend will continue this season. A name that everyone must keep an eye on next season is Adel, Iowa, native, Brevin Doll.

Doll redshirted during his freshman year last season, but made a significant impact on his teammates and coaches. After the 2024 season, he was given a team leader award.

Before joining the Hawkeyes, Doll was a star for Adel-DeSoto-Minburn (ADM) High School. He stuffed that stat sheet during his senior year, accumulating 347 rushing yards and four touchdowns, and 116 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

With players like Kamari Moulton, Jaziun Patterson, and Terrell Washington Jr. ahead of him on the projected depth chart, Doll might not make an immediate impact in the Iowa backfield next season, but is a name to keep an eye on in the future.
