The transfer portal window for women's basketball officially closed at midnight on April 20, and the noise around college basketball has quieted down significantly since then.

Jan Jensen and the Iowa program brought in two talented transfers, including guards Amari Whiting and Dani Carnegie, but still have at least seven roster spots to fill.

There are still plenty of players in the transfer portal looking for new homes, and the clock is ticking to find the right mix of players who not only fit the system but also fit within the program's budget.

The recruiting never ends, and the program is hosting a former four-star prospect to add to the roster for next season.

Jocelyn Faison has a lot of upside and the potential to make an immediate impact

After losing five players to the transfer portal and four to graduation, it won't be easy for Jensen and company to potentially find seven players to fill the roster.

After already signing Georgia Bulldogs transfer guard Dani Carnegie, the program has another Georgia guard on their radar, hosting her this weekend.

According to On3 Sports' Kyle Huesmann, the program is hosting transfer Jocelyn Faison after she entered the portal following one season in Athens.

Faison was buried on the depth chart last season, playing only 7.8 minutes per game, but she has tremendous upside as a former four-star prospect from Langston Hughes High School.

In a scouting report done by 247Sports' director of scouting for women's basketball, Brandon Clay, he stated her combination of athleticism and energy makes her a "unique" prospect.

She can handle the basketball when needed, and makes plays on both ends of the court.

Iowa is hosting Faison based purely on what she accomplished in high school, but she has good upside and would be a good reserve for the Hawkeyes next season.
