The Hawkeye Football program had a lot of question marks heading into this season. One area that was not in question: the offensive line.
Iowa has a veteran core of offensive linemen, led by senior Logan Jones (center), senior Beau Stephens (guard, and senior Gennings Dunker (tackle).
The unit had a tough task replacing Mason Richman and Connor Colby after they went to the NFL, but Kade Pieper and Trevor Lauck have performed well in their absence.
Jack Dotzler has also performed well in a reserve role this season.
After week four, the unit was also ranked as the highest-graded offensive line unit in college football, with four of the five linemen being ranked as the highest-graded player at their position.
Last weekend against Wisconsin, the offensive line unit paved the way for 210 rushing yards and four touchdowns on the ground, and also did not allow a sack.
The offensive line unit continues to be one of the strongest in college football, as showcased during the last game.
After a solid performance in week seven against the Badgers, one Hawkeye lineman was ranked as the highest-graded center in college football.

PFF College ranked center Logan Jones as the highest-graded center in college football after week seven, with a 77.6 overall grade.
Jones continues his brilliant run of play at the center of the Iowa offensive line, and is living up to his preseason All-American nomination.
Iowa faces Penn State this weekend at home, and even though the Nittany Lions are reeling after losing three straight games, they still boast a top 25 overall defense (No. 22 overall).
Jones and the Iowa offensive line will attempt to repeat their performance from last weekend and pave the way for a fourth straight loss for Penn State.
