To this point in her career, we shouldn't be surprised by what Caitlin Clark does, but she still never ceases to amaze us.
It has been a long road back for the former Iowa superstar after she spent most of last season on the sideline with multiple lower-body injuries, but she is officially back to shattering records, and the 2026 season just started.
Even though the Indiana Fever dropped their first game of the season to the Dallas Wings, Clark became the fastest player to record 1,000-plus career points, 250-plus career rebounds, and 250-plus career assists.
After the Fever recently beat the Seattle Storm at home, Clark once again smashed a WNBA record.
It took Clark only 57 career games to make more WNBA history
Regardless of what most of the WNBA general managers think, Clark continues to put on a show every time she steps on the court.
After a bit of a slow start in her first few games, Clark has started to heat up on offense, averaging 24.3 points and 9.0 assists per game through the Fever's first four games.
Following the victory over the Seattle Storm, Clark shattered another record, this time by Courtney Vandersloot.
A new record for CC 🤩

Caitlin Clark has set a new @WNBA record for most career games (11) with 20+ points & 10+ assists 📜 pic.twitter.com/LhxYDa3d74
Clark put up 21 points and 10 assists against the Storm, notching her 11th career game of 20-plus points and 10-plus assists.
That is a new WNBA record, passing Courtney Vandersloot's 10.
What makes Clark's most recent record stand out is that she accomplished it in only 57 career games, while Vandersloot did it in 436.
The Fever need Clark to do everything on the offensive end of the court, and when her shooting and passing are dialed in, no one can stop her or the Fever.
The Fever need Clark on the court to be successful
Don't be mistaken, the Fever are not a better team with Caitlin Clark off the floor.
During her long stint on the sideline last season, multiple members of the media suggested that the Fever are actually better without her, which WNBA legend Candace Parker quickly shut down.
Clark proves how valuable she is when she is playing, and if she stays healthy, the Fever are easily WNBA title contenders.
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Fever currently have the third-best odds to win the 2026 WNBA Championship (+450), behind only the New York Liberty (+220) and the Las Vegas Aces (+390).
The Fever will go only as far as Clark takes them, and if she continues on her current pace, she will set career highs in points and assists at the end of the season.
It is still far too early to project how the season will end, but having Clark back makes a massive difference not only for the Fever but also for the entire league.
Love her or hate her, Clark puts people in the seats and gets eyeballs on television screens, and she is one of the main reasons every one of the Fever's regular season games are nationally televised.
