She's back . . .again! Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark is eying her return after a second stint on the sideline with an injury.

After playing in every game since her sophomore year in high school at Dowling Catholic, the usually durable star has been hit hard by injuries this season.

Clark's first injury came in a May 24 game against the New York Liberty when she suffered a left quad strain. During her five-game absence, the Fever went 2-3 and fell to No. 7 in the WNBA standings.

In her return to the lineup on June 14 against the Liberty, Clark went off, tallying 32 points, eight rebounds, and nine assists.

She struggled in her next few games, averaging 14 points per game, and hit the shelf again after suffering a left groin strain during a June 26 game against the Seattle Storm.

The Fever went 3-2 in Clark's absence, including a win over the Minnesota Lynx in the championship game of the Commissioners Cup. The Fever announced their star will return for a day game against the Golden State Valkyries.

Clark says she is excited to return to the court and expects to play in Wednesday's game, provided there are no further injury complications.

She was a full participant during the Fever's practice on Monday, including participation in five-on-five drills, which suggests she will be ready for the game.

Clark has missed 10 of the Fever's 18 games this season and hopes to stay healthy during the final five games ahead of the all-star break.

CC is one of the captains for the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game, which will take place at the Fever's home arena in Indianapolis.

The Indiana Fever host the Golden State Valkyries on Wednesday, July 9 at 11:00 a.m. Central Time at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Clark is averaging 18.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 8.9 assists this season.
