As we get deeper into 2026, the Hawkeyes continue popping up in predictions for some of the top prospects in the 2027 class.
The program has already locked in several official visits in June with some of the class's top prospects and is also projected to land more when it's all said and done.
Iowa has at least four prospects scheduled for official visits from June 5-7, with more being added every day.
Recently, the program was projected to land talented offensive lineman prospect Mason Halliman, and is now projected to pair him with a talented quarterback prospect in the class.
2027 legacy prospect Jake Nawrot is projected to land in Iowa City
Legacy prospect Jake Nawrot received an offer from the Hawkeyes at the end of January, and now he is projected to sign with the Hawkeyes.

Even though the Hawkeyes will have to beat out multiple top teams for Nawrot's services, including Kentucky, Northwestern, Purdue, and Wisconsin, Rivals' Steve Wiltfong projects the Hawkeyes to land the talented Chicagoland native.
Jake has extensive family ties to the University of Iowa, including his dad, Paul Nawrot, who played linebacker from 1995 through 1997, and his sister, Leah Nawrot, who is currently a member of the women's rowing team.
Nawrot continues to climb recruiting boards after throwing for 3,078 passing yards and 41 touchdowns last season, and he would add even more talent to a deep Iowa quarterback room.
Rivals currently ranks Nawrot as a four-star prospect, Illinois' No. 2 overall prospect, the No. 2 overall quarterback prospect, and the No. 32 overall prospect in their most recent top 300 rankings for the 2027 class.
247Sports currently ranks Nawrot as a three-star prospect, Illinois' No. 14 overall prospect, and the No. 22 overall prospect in the 2027 recruiting class.
247Sports' composite ranking is more bullish on him, ranking him as a four-star prospect and the No. 133 overall prospect.
Even with Nawrot racking up the Power Four offers, Rivals currently gives the Hawkeyes a 95.9 percent chance of landing the blossoming star quarterback.
