The Hawkeye Women's Basketball team are in sunny Orlando for the WBCA Showcase this week.

The Hawkeyes have started the season winning all four games and are one of the top scoring teams in the Big Ten Conference.

Iowa ranks No. 3 in the conference in points per game (94.8) and field goal percentage (54.0), and No. 2 in assists per game (24.5).

The Hawkeyes also excel on the defensive end, averaging 10.8 steals and 4.3 blocks per game.

Before the Hawkeyes upset No. 7 Baylor in Orlando on Thursday night, two players from the squad were added to the Wooden Award Watch List.

Senior forward Hannah Stuelke and freshman guard Addie Deal were added to the Wooden Award Watch List.

The Wooden Award is presented annually to the best player in men's and women's college basketball.

Stuelke moved to the forward position this season to make way for sophomore Ava Heiden to start at the center position, and she has responded by averaging a near-double-double with 12.7 points and 7.5 rebounds to start the season.

Stuelke has already been named a preseason All-Big Ten First-Team selection, and she helped the Hawkeyes upset Baylor by adding 10 points and eight rebounds on Thursday night.

Deal was one of the most highly coveted recruits in the 2025 recruiting class before ultimately choosing the Hawkeyes, and she has been one of the first players off the bench for Jan Jensen this season.

Through the first four games of the season, Deal has averaged 6.0 points, 3.0 assists, and 1.5 rebounds per game.

She did not register a point on Thursday night against Baylor.
