White played sparingly as a sophomore in 2023. He tallied three carries for three yards and a touchdown. He was behind Leshon Williams, Gavin Williams, and Kaleb Johnson on the depth chart and never saw his role increase.
White had a similar role last season. He was buried on the depth chart behind superstar Kaleb Johnson and running backs Kamari Moulton, Jaziun Patterson, and Leshon Williams. He tallied 35 yards on six carries in a limited role.
The running back room was deep during White's time at Iowa, and he never had a chance to showcase his abilities.
