The Iowa Women's Basketball program continues to recruit top guard prospects in the 2027 class. After the success of the program, due in large part to star guard Caitlin Clark, Jan Jensen and her staff hope to attract top talent in future classes.

Iowa freshman guard Addie Deal has the potential to be the next star Iowa guard following Lucy Olsen and Caitlin Clark's success at the guard position for the Hawkeyes, and the Iowa coaching staff does not want to stop there.

The Iowa program has already extended offers to four-star guard, and Florida's No. 1 overall prospect Madi Mignery, and five-star guard, and the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2027 recruiting class, Kaleena Smith.

Mignery and Smith are both extremely talented guard prospects who would make solid additions to the Iowa roster.

The Hawkeyes want to increase their chances of adding another star guard to the roster by extending an offer to Wisconsin's No. 1 overall prospect in the 2027 recruit class.

Jada Seubert, a talented guard in the 2027 recruiting class, announced she received an offer from the Hawkeyes, bringing her offer number close to 20.

Prep Girls Hoops ranked Seubert as Wisconsin's No. 1 overall recruit for the 2027 recruiting class.

Seubert is a versatile guard who can play the point guard or shooting guard positions, and had a solid season for Stevens Point Area Senior High School's (SPASH) as a sophomore on the varsity squad last season.

For SPASH last season, Seubert filled up the stat sheet, averaging 21.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and a massive 4.3 steals per game.

Seubert also plays club basketball for the Purple Aces and on the national club circuit for Team Prime Nation 16U in the EYBL.
