The recruiting machine does not stop at the University of Iowa. Even though we are in the heart of college football season, the Iowa Women's Basketball program continues searching for top-level prospects.

The Iowa program welcomed three talented freshmen to the squad this season, including Addie Deal, Journey Houston, and Layla Hays.

Iowa women's basketball has always been popular, but its popularity has grown significantly since Megan Gustafson and Caitlin Clark shattered records in an Iowa uniform.

Now with Addie Deal poised to be the next star guard at Iowa, the Hawkeye program is looking to future prospects to keep filling the stands at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

At the end of August, a top 2026 prospect from California scheduled an officla visit to Iowa City this fall.

247 Sports' national basketball recruiting analyst Dushawn London reported that Emilia Krstevski scheduled an official visit to Iowa City on October 18.

Krstevski currently plays for Sierra Canyon High School in California and is a native of Chatsworth, California.

She was also a member of the 2024 Under-17 Canadian National Team that traveled to Mexico City for the U-17 Women's Basketball World Cup.

Krstevski is one of the highest-rated California prospects, and the Hawkeyes will be forced to fend off some top college basketball programs to convince her to head to Iowa City.

Rivals has ranked Krstevski as a four-star prospect, California's No. 5 overall prospect, the No. 9 power forward prospect, and the No. 34 overall prospect in the 2026 recruiting class.

247 Sports has ranked Krstevski as a four-star prospect, California's No. 3 overall prospect, the No. 4 center prospect, and the No. 30 overall prospect in the 2026 recruiting class.

Rivals has an early prediction that Krstevski will sign with the Hawkeyes, but it is still too early in her recruiting process to tell where she will land for the 2026-2027 season.
