Jan Jensen and her squad are coming off a dominating Big Ten victory over Penn State, even without two key contributors.
Penn State kept the game close for the first few minutes, but the Hawkeyes used a 16-0 run to put the game away early.
The Hawkeyes dominated in the paint and on the glass, outrebounding the Nittany Lions 55 to 29 and shot 50 precent from the field in the 23-point win.
Iowa enjoyed a nice bounce-back game against Penn State after getting run off the court by No. 1 UConn last week.
After the victory against Penn State, Head Coach Jan Jensen cleared up the status of a Hawkeye who has been injured and was not seen on the sidelines during Iowa's past two games.

“She's back. We never announced (a suspension) ourselves, but we handled that internally…”https://t.co/yzgMFmBtpA
Transfer guard/forward Emely Rodriguez's status has been a mystery after initially being listed on the injury report with a back injury.
Her status got more complicated after Iowa's win over Lindenwood when she wasn't seen on the bench.
After Jan Jensen was asked if Rodriguez was still part of the team, Jensen stated that she "is for now, yeah."
Following her cryptic response, Rodriguez did not travel with the team to New York for the game against No. 1 UConn, but we now have a clearer picture of her status.
She was spotted on the bench during Iowa's win over Penn State, and Jensen said afterward that Rodriguez is officially back with the team.
The program never announced an actual suspension, and handled the issues internally.
Jensen also noted that Rodriguez is still dealing with a lingering back issue, but seeing her back on the sidelines is great news for the squad.
Rodriguez has missed the last seven games with a back injury and an internal matter, but all signs point to her rejoining the team when she is fully healthy.
