We finally have some clarity on a certan Hawkeye's future after a year of turmoil.
Iowa has now lost over half of last season's roster, with only six members remaining on the active roster.
With only McKenna Woliczko joining the program in the 2026 recruiting class, Iowa has a lot of work to do to fill out the roster and run out a competitive team next season.
The transfer portal is in full swing, with four Iowa players already jumping in, including Kennise Johnson, Addie Deal, Callie Levin, and Teagan Mallegni, and now, in unsurprising news, another Hawkeye is joining them.
Emely Rodriguez is officially entering the transfer portal
After rampant speculation surrounding a new Hawkeye's future, she has officially re-entered the portal one year after initially joining the program.

This news isn't a shock to most Iowa fans, given that Emely Rodriguez's tenure in Iowa City was tarnished by a reported violation of team standards and a lingering back injury that kept her out for most of the season.
Rodriguez started the season off strong, becoming one of Jan Jensen's favorite bench options, but then her status became shrouded in mystery.
It was initially reported that she had an injury, but when Jensen was asked if she was still a member of the team, she said, "Yeah, for now."
This made everyone question her place on the team, and it even reached the point where it was rumored she would be removed from the squad if she didn't re-commit to the team standards.
After an absolutely bizarre season for the former Central Florida Knight, Rodriguez's tenure in Iowa City is over, and she is now looking for her third team in three seasons.
Welcome to the new world of expanded NIL and no penalities for transferring schools multiple times.
