We have talked at length about how exciting 2026 prospect McKenna Woliczko is for Iowa women's basketball.

She already has more accolades than many players in her class, including gold medals with Team USA, a five-star ranking, and McDonald's All-American status.

Woliczko showcased why she will be one of the best players on the floor for Iowa when she steps on the court at Carver-Hawkeye Arena next season, and she added another distinction to her sterling resume before heading to Iowa.

Woliczko earned yet another Player of the Year Award

To earn the distinction of the best Iowa prospect since Caitlin Clark is one thing, but to back it up and exceed all expectations is something completely different.

Woliczko did that and more this season after returning from ACL/meniscus injuries that cut her junior season short.

Woliczko earned the West Coast Preps NorCal Girls' Basketball Athlete of the Year award after her dominating senior season.

She averaged 20.7 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals this season for Archbishop Mitty, shooting 70.2 percent from the field, 40 percent from three-point range, and 81 percent from the free-throw line.

For her high school career, Woliczko averaged 21.3 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game.

The hype surrounding Woliczko is real and continues to grow with every accolade she racks up before joining the Iowa program.

The program needs reinforcements after losing multiple players to graduation and the transfer portal, and she can provide instant offense and rebounding for Jan Jensen's squad next season.
