With the 2025 college football season completely wrapped up, everyone is turning their attention to the 2026 season.

For over 20 Hawkeyes, that means the end of their college football career as they head to graduation or to some kind of professional football.

The 2025 Iowa roster was full of seniors and graduate players, with some having the opportunity to represent Iowa one last time in senior showcase events.

The events have finished, and now it is time to get down to business as the 2026 NFL Combine quickly approaches.

The 2026 NFL combine will feature 319 of college football's top prospects, and just under a dozen Hawkeyes were invited to participate.

Iowa will be well-represented at the Combine with nine players heading to Indianapolis from February 23 to March 2.

Here are the former Hawkeyes that were invited:

  • Gennings Dunker (OT)
  • TJ Hall (DB)
  • Logan Jones (C)
  • Max Llewellyn (DL)
  • Xavier Nwankpa (SS)
  • Beau Stephens (OG)
  • Drew Stevens (K)
  • Kaden Wetjen (WR/KR)

In no surprise to Iowa fans, Rimington Trophy recipient Logan Jones and offensive linemen Gennings Dunker and Beau Stephens are heading to Indy after anchoring the offensive line that earned the Joe Moore Award.

Wetjen and Llewellyn also stood out during their stellar performances in senior showcase events.

Iowa had eight participants in the 2025 NFL Combine, increasing that number by one this year, and earning four times the amount of rival Nebraska, who have only two invites this year.

We all know how well Iowa develops players for the next level, and that development will be on full display at the end of this month in Indianapolis.
