The Hawkeyes are not quite done adding transfers while the portal stays open for another few hours.
The transfer portal chaos has been ongoing since January 2 and stops before the calendar flips to January 17 at midnight, unless players from the College Football Playoff decide to venture elsewhere.
The Hawkeyes have been active in the portal this cycle, gaining the commitment of nearly a dozen players.
Nine of Iowa's 11 transfer portal signings have come from FCS programs, excluding offensive lineman Trent Wilson and safety Tyler Brown, both from James Madison University.
With seven hours left in the transfer portal window, the Hawkeyes added more depth to a poisition of need.

North Dakota transfer defensive lineman Emmanuel Olagbaju announced he has committed to the Hawkeyes after spending one season with the Fighting Hawks.
Olagbaju made a verbal commitment to the UConn Huskies program, but was clearly blown away by Iowa to flip his commitment with just hours left.
His X profile even has a picture of him in a Hawkeye uniform with "IOWA FOOTBALL" in all caps in the bio.
Olagbaju began his college career at St. Thomas in 2023 and had a solid true freshman season. In 2024, he was projected to have a bigger role but suffered a season-ending injury after the second game.
Before the 2025 season, he transferred to North Dakota, where he compiled 11 tackles and two sacks for the Fighting Hawks last season.
Olagbaju will compete for snaps on the defensive line this season and will most likely play in a reserve role.
After his commitment, Olagbaju has at least two years of eligibility remaining, but could potentially have three if he applies for an extra year after missing most of the 2024 season with an injury.
