Team USA has been an unstoppable force in the 2025 FIBA Women's AmeriCup. Since arriving in Santiago, Chile, for the AmeriCup, Team USA has crushed every opponent in front of them.
The USA went a perfect 4-0 in group play, including dominating victories against Chile (108-47), Colombia (80-43), Puerto Rico (80-62), and Mexico (104-48).
After dominating Mexico on July 2, Team USA won Group B and had a quarterfinal matchup against the Dominican Republic on Independence Day.
Team USA came to play, and dominated once again.

Team USA and the Dominican Republic traded blows early in the first quarter before the Americans asserted their dominance. The USA went on a 19-0 run to secure a 30-11 lead after the first quarter.
Team USA dropped 27 points in the second quarter to take a commanding 55-21 lead into halftime.
It was more of the same from Team USA in the second half as they outscored the Dominican Republic 55-23 to crush the Dominican Republic 110-44.
Six USA players finished with double-digit points, and the team notched 31 steals in the 66-point victory.
The team's 31 steals in the game are the most by any country in the AmeriCup since 2003.
Flaujae Johnson led Team USA in scoring with 22 points and also added seven rebounds. Hannah Hidalgo added 17 points and nine rebounds, and Gianna Kneepkens added 14 points in the dominating victory.
Iowa Women's Basketball forward Hannah Stuelke notched a near-double-double with 10 points and eight rebounds.
Team USA will look to continue their undefeated tournament as they face Canada on July 5 at 4:40 p.m. Central Time.
