Whether it was Gennings Dunker's flow, Karson Sharar's vertical leap, or Logan Jones' speed, the Hawkeyes showed out at the 2026 NFL Combine.

Iowa sent nine representatives to the Combine in Indianapolis, and it could have easily been 11 with Aaron Graves and Mark Gronowski getting snubbed.

The nine that did show up represnted the program extremly well, earning praise across the board.

Iowa has a stellar reputation as a development program that prepares guys for the next level, and one of those guys was named as one of the biggest risers after Day Four of the Combine.

Logan Jones' draft stock is on the rise after his performance

Jones has been a staple of the Iowa offensive line since shifting from the defensive line early in his career.

The 2025 Rimington Trophy winner has flown under the radar for most of his career, and even though some draft experts still knock his physical attributes, he showed off his athleticism during the offensive lineman day at the Combine.

According to NFL Draft analyst Chad Reuter, Jones was one of the top seven biggest risers out of the offensive linemen group.

Reuter compared Jones to former Hawkeye great Tyler Linderbaum, who is one of the top centers in the NFL, and noted he tested even better than Linderbaum at the Combine.

Jones had no issues with drills and was fluid in his movements, leading to good results across the board.

Reuter also said that any team that employs a zone-blocking scheme should "lock him up" within the top 50 picks.

Jones' stock is definitely on the rise, and he could be the next great Iowa offensive lineman to succeed in the NFL.
