If Karson Sharar wasn't on the radar of many NFL Scouts and GMs, he is now.
Sharar patiently waited his turn behind former Hawkeye star linebackers Jay Higgins and Jack Campbell, but took full advantage of his first season as a starter last year.
While those are some big shoes to fill, Sharar showcased what he could do.
Sharar racked up a team-leading 83 total tackles (42 solo, 41 assisted) and added four sacks and a forced fumble.
Even though Sharar was only a one-year starter, he impressed NFL scouts and general managers enough to receive an invitation to the 2026 NFL Combine, and he justified that invitation.
