Ahead of a massive Big Ten game against No. 15 Michigan State, Iowa Women's Basketball got a HUGE recruiting win.
Iowa got off to a torrid start, winning its first 10 games, before dropping two out of three.
The two losses are outliers for the Hawkeyes, who lost both games to ranked teams (No. 11 Iowa State and No. 1 UConn) on the road.
The Hawkeyes have been led by the dominating post play of Ava Heiden and Hannah Stuelke, with a three freshman helping off the bench.
Ahead of a challenging stretch of games against No. 15 Michigan State, No. 12 Maryland, No. 14 Ohio State, and No. 3, the Hawkeyes received great news from the recruiting trail.

According to Prep Girls Hoops, Seubert is Wisconsin's No. 1 prospect and the No. 66 overall prospect in the 2027 recruiting class.
Seubert chose the Hawkyes over offers from Georgia Tech, Iowa State, Kansas, Oklahoma State, Nebraska, and Wisconsin, among others.
Seubert is an extremely talented combo guard who can effectively play the point or shooting guard positions.
She averaged 21.4 points, 4.8 assists, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.3 steals per game as a sophomore on Stevens Point Area High School's varsity squad last season.
Last summer, Seubert put up 18.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 2.7 steals per game on the Under-16 Nike EYBL circuit.
The Hawkeyes keep scoring big recruiting wins, and Seubert gives the Hawkeyes their point guard of the future.
