The NFL Draft has come and gone, and the highest drafted Hawkeye this year has some lofty expectations in his rookie season.
The Chicago Bears selected Iowa center Logan Jones with the No. 57 overall pick in the second round of the Draft following his stellar five-year career at Iowa.
In a rare move, Jones went from the defensive line to the offensive line after redshirting his freshman season, and the move paid off in a big way.
The move showcased Jones' versatility, and he became an anchor in the center of the offensive line for multiple seasons. The Chicago Bears were "smitten" with Jones, and now he has to live up to those expectations with a legendary number.
Brian Urlacher gave Logan Jones his blessing to use his legendary No. 54
Jones' No. 65 was unavailable after he joined the Bears' organization because it was already worn by fellow OL Luke Newman, and the number he ultimately chose was a shock to some people.
"It's such an honor to be able to wear that number."

The Bears organization no longer retires numbers, but legendary linebacker Brian Urlacher's number hasn't been worn since his retirement.
Now Jones will wear the iconic No. 54 after the Bears reached out to Urlacher, who gave them his blessing.
Jones knows what it means to put on that No. 54, and it is not lost on him how important it is to be able to wear it.
He said it is such an honor to wear that number, and that when people think of the Bears, they think of Brian Urlacher, underscoring how special it is.
Jones also mentioned that wearing No. 54 supports Urlacher's memory and lets everyone see the legacy he has left.
Urlacher was one of the most popular players in the NFL during his pro career from 2000 to 2012, and now Jones is carrying on that legacy.
Jones participated in the Bears' rookie minicamp from May 8 through May 9, and will continue donning the No. 54 through the summer and into his first professional season.
