In a bit of a surprise, Logan Jones was the first Hawkeye selected in the 2026 NFL Draft, going No. 57 overall.

All the experts and fans were expecting Gennings Dunker to be the first Hawkeye selected, but he didn't go until the third round to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Ever since Bears' center Drew Dalman retired, we have been pushing the Jones-to-the-Bears narrative, and it actually happened.

Not only did the Bears get a veteran center and the Rimington Award winner, but a great person as well, and he got a gift even he wasn't expecting.

Being the No. 57 pick has some rare perks for Logan Jones

Jones achieved almost everything you can possibly achieve at the college level, including All-American status, earning the Rimington Award, given to the nation's best center, and the Joe Moore, given to the best offensive line unit in college football.

His most recent gift wasn't something he had in mind.

A lifetime supply of ketchup from the Kraft Heinz Company is heading Jones' way, and Jones couldn't be happier.

When he found out about the special perk, he said he loves ketchup and can't get enough, followed by "let's go ketchup!"

All jokes aside, Jones is a perfect fit for the Bears, who could be in need of Jones' services sooner rather than later with veteran Garrett Bradbury on a one-year contract.

Jones excels in a zone-blocking run scheme similar to what the Bears run, and with over 50 career starts, he is as close to a finished product as you will get.
