Iowa Women's Basketball had a successful 2024-2025 season in Head Coach Jan Jensen's first year as head coach.

The Hawkeyes started out slow and had a rough January, but bounced back to earn their ninth consecutive 20-win season and earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament for the seventh consecutive season.

In the second year under Jensen, expectations are higher for the Hawkeyes as they released their finalized conference schedule for next season.

Iowa begins the 2025-2026 Big Ten Conference schedule with a road game in Piscataway, New Jersey, against Rutgers, before returning home for back-to-back conference home games.

The Hawkeyes have back-to-back conference home games two times this season, including Penn State (December 28)/Nebraska (January 1, 2026), and Oregon (January 15, 2026)/Michigan State (January 18, 2026).

Iowa also has back-to-back conference road games twice this season, including USC (January 29, 2026)/UCLA (February 1, 2026), and Nebraska (February 16, 2026)/Purdue (February 19, 2026).

Iowa wraps up its 2025-2026 regular season with an away game at Wisconsin on March 1, before the Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament takes place from March to March 8, 2026.

Last season, the Hawkeyes finished with a 10-8 Big Ten Conference record after beginning the conference slate with a 2-3 record with losses to Michigan State, Maryland, and Illinois.

The Hawkeyes will have a more veteran group this season with Hannah Stuelke, Kylie Feuerbach, and Taylor McCabe returning, alongside sophomores Ava Heiden and Taylor Stremlow, who played significant minutes as freshmen last season.

Iowa begins their season with a home game against Southern on November 3.
