After receiving news that they would be a six-seed in the NCAA Tournament, the Iowa Hawkeyes Women's Basketball program received more good news on Tuesday. Senior leader Kylie Feuerbach announced she is returning for her final year of eligibility in 2025-2026.

Feuerbach was undecided about returning to Iowa for a fifth year, but made it official on Tuesday afternoon.

Feuerbach began her basketball career at Iowa State before transferring to Iowa in 2021. Fans could not be happier to see her return for her fifth year in black and gold.

Adding Feuerbach back into the rotation next season gives Iowa Women's Basketball a veteran presence. It also helps the Hawkeyes defensively, as Feuerbach is one of the best defenders in the Big Ten.

Kylie is a fan favorite, and fans point to her defensive intensity as a reason why. She is a terror on the defensive end and is charged with locking up the opponent's best players. Having her back is a huge boost for the Hawkeyes on the defensive end.

A great weekend gave way to a great start to the week as the Hawkeye guard announced her return for another season.

Hawkeye fans nationwide were ecstatic when Feuerbach decided to return. The Hawkeyes will be a force to be reckoned with as Kylie makes her return next season.

Feuerbach has averaged 6.4 points and 2.3 rebounds in 32 games this season. She is also one of the best defenders in the Big Ten Conference, averaging 1.3 steals per game this season.

Feuerbach and the Iowa Hawkeyes travel to Norman, Oklahoma on Saturday, March 22, for Round One of the NCAA Tournament. The six-seed Iowa Hawkeyes will take on the 11-seed Murray State Racers at 11:00 a.m. Central Time on ESPN.
