After a brief three-game skid, the Hawkeyes have rattled off six straight wins.
Iowa has been locked in on both ends, especially sophomore sensation Ava Heiden, who has been on a whole different level.
Heiden earned three player-of-the-week awards, helping the Hawkeyes succeed over the past few weeks, including a massive performance against No. 6 Michigan.
The win over Michigan was huge not only for the current squad but for the future, as a top power forward recruit was in attendance.
Nation Williams was one of nine prospects in attendance for the Michigan game, and she must have been impressed.
Williams has the Hawkeyes in her final ten
The crowd was insane, the atmosphere was electric, and the Hawkeyes knocked off a top-10 team, and Williams was in attendance for all of it.
She must have come away with a great impression of the program, because she released a new list of her top eight destinations, and Iowa made the cut.

Williams is an extremely talented prospect with whom the Hawkeyes have maintained constant contact throughout her recruitment.
Williams is ranked as Nevada's No.1 overall prospect by Rivals and 247Sports, and the Hawkeyes have a great chance to add to a blossoming 2027 class.
Iowa has already received a commitment from Wisconsin's No. 1 overall prospect in the 2027 class, Jada Seubert, and has the chance to put together one of the nation's best recruiting classes.
Iowa has been building momentum in the class, and even though it is still early in the recruiting process, everything is looking up for the Hawkeyes.
