Iowa has picked up two important road wins over the past few games, keeping them firmly in the NCAA Tournament conversation.

Jan Jensen has the team clicking and has been pushing the right buttons without multiple starters.

The Hawkeyes lost Taylor McCabe for the season after she tore her ACL and meniscus early against Ohio State, and were without Hannah Stuelke for the Purdue game after she suffered an upper-body injury against Nebraska.

Taylor Stremlow has really come on as a starter, with Journey Houston steadily becoming Iowa's best reserve player, including in her first career start against Purdue with Stuelke on the shelf.

As we get closer to Selection Sunday, the Hawkeyes are still fighting for a top seed in the NCAA Tournament, and a top-two seed is not out of the question.

ESPN has the Hawkeyes as a three-seed in the Fort Worth Region

In their latest bracketology update, ESPN has Iowa remaining a three-seed in the Fort Worth Region, which includes hosting a first-round matchup after a solid three-game winning streak.

After a rough California road trip and a loss to Minnesota at home, Iowa picked up solid wins against No. 25 Washington at home, and Nebraska and Purdue on the road to close out the week.

Iowa currently sits at third overall in the Big Ten Conference standings with a 21-5 (12-3 Big Ten) and has a great opportunity to move to a two-seed with a win over No. 6 Michigan on February 22.

Michigan is currently listed as a two-seed in the Sacramento Region, but a victory over the Wolverines would give Iowa a good chance to move up.
