Get ready, Hawkeye fans! A familiar face is making his return to Carver-Hawkeye Arena for a pivotal rivaly game against Nebraska.
Iowa is rolling over the past few weeks, thanks to the play of star guard Bennett Stirtz.
Stirtz has scored 20-plus points in each of Iowa's last six games, including a 36-point outburst against Northwestern.
The Hawkeyes narrowly missed the top 25 rankings after another stellar stretch of play and will have two prime opportunities to improve their ranking and resume over the next week.
After a brief speed bump with Maryland in town (February 11), the Hawkeyes welcome Purdue (February 14) and Nebraska (February 17) to CHA.
Before Iowa takes on Nebraska early next week, the program is getting some crowd reinforcements from a former Hawkeye star.
Aaron White is returning to Iowa City to watch Iowa take on Nebraska
Former Hawkeye great Aaron White announced he is making his return to Carver to watch the highly anticipated matchup against Nebraska.
If it adds any juice at all.. I’ll be in Carver for this game. First time back for a game since I graduated 🖤💛 https://t.co/pzdnihwvjI

White is the Iowa program's all-time leader in games played (140), free throws made (618), and free throws attempted (800).
He is also second all-time in scoring (1,859) and third all-time in total rebounds (901).
The Washington Wizards drafted White with the No. 49 overall pick in the second round of the 2015 NBA Draft, but he found more success overseas.
He has bounced around to almost everywhere in Europe, winning a Greek League Championship (2021), two Lithuanian League Championships (2018, 2019), a Serbian League Championship (2022), and an ABA Championship (2022).
White is currently a member of the SeaHorses Mikawa, a professional team that plays in Japan's B League.
Iowa's recent winning streak has earned national attention, and they will have some much-needed crowd reinforcements for one of their biggest games of the year against rival Nebraska.
