There is no rest for the Iowa Men's Basketball coaching staff. Head Coach Ben McCollum and his staff are trying to rebuild multiple Iowa recruiting classes while getting the current roster ready for next season.

Since being hired by the Iowa program, McCollum has worked diligently to replenish the prospect pool by extending offers to multiple top prospects.

McCollum and his staff have focused more on the 2027 recruiting class lately, extending offers to three top prospects in the 2027 class.

Four-star prospects Cayden Daughtry and Donovan Davis, and three-star prospect Jack Kohnen have received offers from the Iowa Men's Basketball program.

The Hawkeye coaching staff continues to shoot for the best prospects in the 2027 class, and made another offer to one of the best prospects in the class.

Tyrone Jamison, a six-foot-two point guard prospect from Shreveport, Louisiana, announced he received an offer from the Iowa program.

Jamison currently plays for Calvary Baptist Academy in Shreveport and on the AAU circuit during the offseason for JL3 Elite in Nike's EYBL.

Jamison has been on the varsity squad during his first two years in high school, and had a solid sophomore season last year for Calvary.

According to Hawkeyes Wire, Jamison averaged 15.3 points, 5.7 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.7 steals last season.

247 Sports has ranked Jamison as a four-star prospect, Louisiana's No. 2 prospect, the No. 5 point guard prospect, and the No. 21 overall prospect in the 2027 recruiting class.

Rivals has ranked Jamison as a four-star prospect, Louisiana's No. 1 prospect, the No. 7 point guard prospect, and the No. 34 overall prospect in the 2027 recruiting class.

Securing Jamison's commitment would be a huge recruiting win for McCollum and his staff and give the Hawkeyes a solid foundation for the 2027 recruiting class.
