It might not always be the sexiest brand of football, but the Iowa Football program has been a model of consistency under Head Coach Kirk Ferentz.
After returning to Iowa City after a stint in the NFL with the Browns and Ravens, Ferentz's start to his tenure was shaky at best.
Iowa had a putrid 4-19 record in Ferentz's first two seasons, but the program stuck with him, and the program has been better off because of it.
Since the 1999 season when Ferentz took over, Iowa has a 212-128 (134-91 Big Ten) record, including two Big Ten Championships (2002, 2004) and three Big Ten West Division titles (2015, 2021, 2023).
The Hawkeyes also have 10 wins in bowl games, and have another chance to add to that total after a trip to Tampa on New Year's Eve this season.
After Iowa's victory over UMass earlier this season, Ferentz also became the winningest coach in Big Ten Conference history.
The consistency under Kirk Ferentz has been something to marvel at, and that consistency continues in another area following the conclusion of the regular season.

Iowa seniors Kaden Wetjen and Logan Jones were named Walter Camp First-Team All-American selections, capping off a dynamic year for the two veteran players.
Not only is their achievement impressive, but it also extended a streak of Hawkeyes who have been named to the All-American First-Team.
With Jones and Wetjen's selections, the Iowa program has now had at least one player selected to the first team in seven straight years.
That is the most in college football by any program.
Under Kirk Ferentz, the Iowa program is one of the best at identifying and developing talent, and consistently having players selected to the All-American First-Team for seven straight years is an amazing accomplishment.
