And it's sweet, sweet victory for the Hawkeyes after dominating Nebraska in Lincoln.
Iowa went into Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska, and boat raced the Cornhuskers in the final game of the regular season.
With the victory, the Hawkeyes earned win No. 8 this season, giving the program its ninth eight-win season since 2015.
The only year the Hawkeyes did not reach the eight-win plateau was the COVID-19-shortened 2020 season, where they posted a 6-2 overall record.
More importantly to Hawkeye fans, the program has now beaten Nebraska in the last 10 of 11 meetings, giving us bragging rights for another year.
Iowa Head Coach Kirk Ferentz noted during his weekly press conference that the rivalry means more to the fans than to the players and coaches, but also that games like these make conference play special.
Despite stating that before the game, Ferentz was visibly emotional in the locker room after the game, and this win means more than earning win No. 8 this season.
Kirk Ferentz is 7-1 in Big Ten games at Memorial Stadium.

Nebraska's last three head coaches combined? 18-26.
Matt Rhule: 6-8 (.428)
Scott Frost: 6-11 (.353)
Mike Riley: 6-7 (.462)

According to CBS Sports' Cody Nagel, Ferentz is now 7-1 in Big Ten games at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln.
Nebraska's last three coaches have a combined 18-26 record, and Ferentz has more wins than all three.
Matt Rhule (6-8), Scott Frost (6-11), and Mike Riley (6-7) all have six Big Ten Conference wins at Memorial Stadium, and it is hilarious that none of them have more wins in their own stadium than Ferentz does.
Rhule recently signed a contract extension that will keep him in Lincoln through the 2032 season, allowing him to rack up more Big Ten Conference wins at home, but for now, this stat is all too funny.
Don't show this to stat to Nebraska fans!
