Hannah Stuelke is back with the Iowa Women's Basketball squad after spending some time with Team USA in South America.
Stuelke was a key reserve for Team USA as they captured a gold medal in the 2025 FIBA Women's AmeriCup in Santiago, Chile.
During the AmeriCup, Stuelke averaged 5.9 points and 4.7 rebounds in a reserve role for Team USA.
Stuelke has returned state-side and rejoined the Iowa program. Ahead of her senior year, Hannah is ready to have fun and be a more vocal leader for the Hawkeyes.
Head Coach Jan Jensen has also challenged her to communicate more and be a leader for the younger players on the squad.
Ahead of the upcoming women's basketball season, Stuelke has been named as a breakout candidate for the Hawkeyes.

ESPN added Stuelke to their "10 players with breakout potential" list ahead of next season.
Stuelke has been a solid contributor for the Hawkeyes since joining the program in 2022. During her first season in Iowa City, Stuelke did not start, but played in every game. She averaged 6.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game en route to earning the Big Ten Sixth Person of the Year Award.
Stuelke has always been a solid contributor for the Hawkeyes, but other star players, including Caitlin Clark and Lucy Olsen, constantly overshadowed her.
This season, the Hawkeyes will be a more well-rounded team, but there is no clear-cut leading scorer or star player on the squad.
Hannah is one of the senior leaders of the team and has the potential to lead the Hawkeyes in her final season on campus.
If she can develop a more consistent jump shot from 12 feet and close, and become a better passer from the perimeter, the Hawkeyes will be tough to stop next season.
