Iowa finally got back to its winning ways against Indiana, and the program is trying to earn another win on the recruiting trail.
The rebuilt Iowa program currently has only one player committed in the 2026 recruiting class, four-star prospect Ethan Harris, and it is trying to add more talent in 2026 and beyond.
There are currently no committed prospects in the 2027 class, and Ben McCollum and the Iowa program are trying to quickly change that.
Iowa made the top-10 list for 2027 prospect TJ Jamison
One of the top guard prospects in the 2027 recruiting class, TJ Jamison, has Iowa listed as one of his top-10 destinations.

Jamison has the Hawkeyes on a short list of teams that includes multiple SEC powerhouses, including his home state university, LSU.
Jamison, a Shreveport, Louisiana native, currently attends Calvary Baptist Academy and is ranked among the top in Louisiana.
Rivals has currently ranked Jamison as a four-star prospect, Louisiana's No. 1 overall prospect, the No. 13 point guard prospect, and the No. 56 overall prospect in the 2027 recruiting class.
247Sports has currently ranked Jamison as a four-star prospect, Louisiana's No. 2 overall prospect, the No. 10 point guard prospect, and the No. 38 overall prospect in the 2027 recruiting class.
Jamison was an immediate contributor as a freshman, averaging close to 18 points per game as a freshman in 2024.
Jamison has a similar style of play to current Hawkeye star guard Bennett Stirtz, and if he commits to the Hawkeyes, it not only gives Ben McCollum his first recruit in the class, but a potential star to build around in the 2027 class.
