Much has been said about the Iowa offensive line unit this season, but it is nowhere near the amount it should be.
After the season ended with an upset win over Vanderbilt, Iowa started the same five players in all 13 games for the first time since 2013.
The unit earned the Joe Moore Award, given to the best offensive line in college football, and that is just one smart piece of the dominance they displayed this season.
The veteran-led unit paved the way for a stellar rushing attack, including five games of 200-plus rushing yards.
They also helped pave the way for quarterback Mark Gronowski to set two program records for the most rushing yards by a quarterback in a single season and the most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in a single season.
With the 2025 season over for the Hawkeyes, multiple seniors have accepted invitations to senior showcase events, including another member of the stout offensive line group.

Senior offensive line stalwart Gennings Dunker officially accepted an invitation to play in the 2026 Panini Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, at the end of January.
Dunker started all 13 games for the Hawkeyes this season, notching his 38th career start on the offensive line.

Dunker is one of many success stories from the Iowa offensive line.
He redshirted as a true freshman due to an injury and made an impact every season after, including starting every game for the last three seasons.
The offensive line development within the Iowa program has been world-class, and Dunker has a chance to be the next in a long line of Hawkeye offensive linemen to make an impact in the NFL.
