The Iowa Hawkeyes are 3-2 so far this season, and with two losses and being in a very competitive conference, it seems as though the hopes of making the College Football Playoffs are out the window for this team. A two-win team has a chance to make it, but at this point, Iowa would need to win out the rest of the season to finish with only two losses this season. It is not completely out of the realm of possibility for that to happen, but with the way the Hawkeyes are playing, it would be tough.

The Hawkeyes are set to take on the Washington Huskies for the first time with both teams being a part of the Big Ten. However, this is not the first time these two teams are meeting. They have met six times before, and the series is tied 3-3.

Iowa is coming off a really tough loss against Ohio State in Week 6, where the offense looks nonexistent against the Buckeyes. The Hawkeyes were only able to score on one of their last drives of the game when the Ohio State subs were in, and backup quarterback Brendan Sullivan was able to lead the Hawkeyes on the scoring drive.

This won't be an easy game against Washington, a team coming off a big win over the Michigan Wolverines. Even though Michigan is nowhere near the same team they were last year when they beat Washington in the National Championship, they are still a talented team, and Iowa will have their hands full with them.

Today's Washington vs. Iowa game details

Game time

Iowa and Washington drew the early kickoff time in the Big Ten this week with the eastern time zone kickoff of noon, but in Iowa, the game is set to start at 11:00 a.m. CT. With a morning kickoff, fans should get to the stadium early but will have to rest of the day to hopefully celebrate an Iowa win.

TV channel information

This week, fans will be able to watch Iowa on Fox Sports as they take on Washington. Most cable providers should have the channel with a basic sports plan. However, fans can also stream the game live on the Fox Sports app with a valid cable provider sign-in. The game can also be streamed on FuboTV with a valid subscription.

If fans are not able to watch the game on TV, they can always listen to the game on the Hawkeyes Radio Network, which can be found online or on the local radio networks in the local Iowa City area.
