Iowa and Washington are set to meet for the first time since 1995, but the first time ever as Big Ten opponents. The Washington Huskies were one of four teams that joined the Big Ten this past offseason, and they are set to make the long trip to Iowa City for the first time since 1964.

Washington and Iowa are coming off two very different performances in Week 6. The Huskies are coming off a big win where they got their revenge on the Michigan Wolverines. The Iowa Hawkeyes are coming off a tough loss against Ohio State where the Hawkeyes let the game get away from them in the second half.

This is a fairly evenly matched game between two teams that have had their struggles. Each team has two losses on the season, and this could be a big win on the season in order to build momentum.
