After absolutely obliterating Bellarmine 40-0 last week to begin the 2025-2026 wrestling season, Iowa Men's Wrestling Head Coach Tom Brands and his staff earned multiple big wins on the recruiting trail.
No. 3 Iowa is looking to get back on track this season after a subpar 2024-2025 season by Iowa standards.
The Hawkeyes finished third at the Big Ten Wrestling Championships behind Penn State and Nebraska, and crowned only one national champion last season.
The Hawkeyes have won only one Big Ten and National Championship since 2021, as Penn State continues its dominating run in college wrestling.
Tom Brands and his staff said to hell with that and started cooking on the recruiting trail over the weekend, signing two top prospects in the 2027 recruiting class.
