The Hawkeyes are coming up gold in the postseason following the release of the five All-American lists.
Sporting News recently released its All-American designations, with three Hawkeyes earning first or second-team nods.
Beau Stephens, Logan Jones, and Kaden Wetjen were all given All-American designations by Sport News. For Jones, it got him one step closer to achieving consensus All-American status.
The final list to determine consensus All-American status was released on December 18, and Jones achieved a rare feat.
After Sporting News released its list, only one remained to determine consensus All-American status, and it was all good news for two Hawkeyes.

The Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) named Jones and Wetjen as First-Team All-American selections, giving Jones the coveted "unanimous consensus" All-American designation.
After Jones and Wetjen earned another First-Team designation, he became one of 14 players in the past 12 seasons to earn a consensus selection, joining an exclusive list of great former Hawkeyes.
They are the latest pair of Hawkeyes to join the exclusive consensus All-American club since former Iowa linebacker Jay Higgins achieved that feat in 2024.
After Wetjen earned another First-Team All-American selection, the Iowa program has now had a special teams All-American in five of the past seven seasons.
Following the final release of the complete All-American team nominations, the Iowa program continues an impressive streak with at least one FWAA All-American selection.
The program has had 13 straight seasons with an FWAA All-American, the second most in college football behind only Alabama (18).
Iowa has also had 10 FWAA All-Americans in the last four seasons, ranking second in college football to only Ohio State (11).
All 10 of Iowa's FWAA All-American selections have been on the first team.
