Even with the transfer portal chaos (mostly) over, there are still multiple talented players left who are undecided.
The Hawkeyes brought in 15 players from the transfer portal, while losing eight to this point.
The transfer portal opened on January 2 and closed on January 16, with players in the College Football Playoff given an extra five days to enter their names.
Even though the deadline to enter the portal has passed, as long as your name was in before the 11:59 p.m. deadline on January 16, there is no deadline to sign with a new team or withdraw.
Iowa still has some potential holes to fix before next season, and there are three players they should add.
Lipe Moala, interior offensive lineman (Oregon)
The Hawkeyes did add offensive lineman Trent Wilson, but if they want to shore up the interior of the offensive line, they should give Oregon transfer Lipe Moala a long look.
The Iowa offensive line was presented the Joe Moore Award, given to the best offensive line in college football, but they have the challenging task of replacing three outgoing members next season.
All-American center Logan Jones, tackle Gennings Dunker, and guard Beau Stephens have all graduated, and the Hawkeyes could use some depth.
Kade Pieper will return next season and is expected to move to the center position to sure up the center of the offensive line.
If that comes to fruition, it opens a spot on the interior that Moala could easily fill.
Moala was a key reserve on the Oregon Ducks' offensive line, which ranked in the top 20 in rushing offense last season.
Iowa has multiple players who will fight for an expanded role, including Leighton Jones, Jack Dotzler, and Cannon Leonard, but it can never hurt to have too many experienced offensive line options.
If Moala joins the Hawkeyes, he would have three years of remaining eligibility.
Kamauryn Morgan, edge (Baylor)
Edge rusher Kamauryn Morgan from Baylor might be a long shot for the Hawkeyes, but they need to swing for the fences if they want to add talent this late.
Even though the Hawkeyes were ranked among the best defenses in the Big Ten and nationally, they failed to consistently pressure the quarterback.
Iowa ranked No. 11 in the Big Ten in total sacks and needs to get more pressure on the quarterback next season.
After the departures of Ethan Hurkett (graduation), Aaron Graves (graduation), and Brian Allen Jr. (transfer), the Hawkeyes' defensive line is looking for answers.
Iose Epenesa and Joseph Anderson are the projected front-runners to occupy the edge rushing spots, but Morgan has too much potential as a former four-star prospect for the Hawkeyes to pass up.
Morgan was initially slated to transfer to Virginia Tech to join new head coach James Franklin, but reopened his recruitment on January 16.
Morgan will have four years of remaining eligibility with whatever team he joins.
Javeon Campbell, defensive line (Kentucky)
A former blue-chip prospect, Javeon Campbell, surprisingly decided to transfer after one season with the Kentucky Wildcats.
His size (six-foot-five, 260 pounds) and athleticism should make the Hawkeyes want to take a chance on him, especially with four more years of remaining eligibility.
Campbell was one of the best recruits in Kentucky's 2025 recruiting class, choosing the Wildcats over Alabama, Auburn, and Miami, among many others.
The Hawkeyes are extremely young on the offensive line, but Campbell's addition would give them an immediate boost.
If Campbell wants to play for one of the best defensive minds in college football in Phil Parker, Iowa needs to see what it would take to get him to Iowa City.
