The second half of the 2025 WNBA season is officially underway following the conclusion of the All-Star break. Notably absent from All-Star weekend was Indiana Fever star and team captain Caitlin Clark.

Clark suffered another injury late in the Fever's second-to-last game before the All-Star break against the Connecticut Sun. After suffering the injury, Clark opted not to participate in any WNBA All-Star Weekend competitions, including the All-Star game and three-point competition.

She was still on the sidelines as a "coach" during a crushing 151-130 loss to Team Collier in the All-Star game.

After the All-Star break concluded and the second half of the season began, Clark was held out of Indiana's first matchup against the New York Liberty, which resulted in a 98-84 loss.

Before Thursday's game against the Las Vegas Aces, the Fever organization announced Clark would miss the game, and stated there is no timetable for her return.

According to a statement by the Indiana Fever, the organization reported that Clark underwent further medical testing to assess the extent of her most recent injury.

The examinations revealed no additional damage or injuries, and she will continue working with the medical team to facilitate her recovery and rehabilitation.

The priority is her long-term health and there is no timetable for her return.

After the announcement, the Fever battled the Aces at home, debuting their new "Stranger Things" themed jerseys and gear.

In their second game after the all-star break and second without Clark, the Fever beat the Aces 80-70.

The Fever travel to the United Center in Chicago for their next matchup against the Chicago Sky on Sunday, July 27, at 2:00 p.m. Central Time.
