The Iowa Hawkeyes released their depth chart for the pivotal New Year's Eve clash with No. 14 Vanderbilt, and one star player is not listed.

Iowa has been diligently preparing for Vanderbilt and headed to Tampa on Christmas to get settled and ready for the big game.

Raymond James Stadium is a familiar venue for the Hawkeyes, as the program has played there six times under Head Coach Kirk Ferentz.

Before the game, Iowa released the intial depth chart for the game that does not contain a star player in the Iowa secondary.

After solidifying himself as Iowa's No. 1 cornerback with his play this season, defensive back TJ Hall could miss the game against Vanderbilt with an injury.

Zach Lutmer is listed as the starter at left corner, while Deshaun Lee is listed as the starter at right corner.

If Hall is unavailable for the game, it will be a massive blow to the Iowa secondary that has had a good season for Phil Parker's defense.

The Iowa defense ranks No. 7 overall in total defense, allowing 270.6 yards per game to opposing offenses, while also ranking No. 7 in passing yards allowed per game (158.2) and team passing efficiency (104.95).

Hall has been an integral part of Iowa's defense, notching career-highs in total tackles with 39 (24 solo, 15 assisted) and passes defended (eight).

Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia can sling it all around the football field, and Hall is usually tasked with covering the opponent's best player.

Without Hall in the lineup, it could allow Hawkeye fans to get a look at young defensive backs Rashad Godfrey and Jaylen Watson, and see what the future of the Iowa secondary holds.

Hall is in the final year of his college eligibility, and it would be great for him to be available for the Hawkeyes in their final game of the season.

Apart from Hall, everyone else seems to be available for the game.
