Ryan Paris, a University of Iowa student and member of the student-led campus radio station KRUI, was on the call for Iowa-Michigan and nailed his call of Vander Zee's touchdown grab. He broke down the play with precision and erupted with emotion as Vander Zee's touchdown catch sealed Iowa's victory, and he also took a shot at Michigan for the week-one controversy. Michigan was granted an extra second at the end of its week-one game against Western Michigan, allowing them to capitalize on a last-second Hail Mary as time expired to earn a 13-12 win, and Johnny Knoxville isn't the only one who won't let them forget it.

Knoxville was the guest picker on ESPN's "College GameDay" and, like the other analysts, believed it would be a low-scoring game. He ultimately picked Michigan because the only way it would be a blowout was if they added time back on the clock. Everyone bashed Michigan for beating Western Michigan the way they did, with most people believing they didn't actually win. Regardless of how anyone felt, Michigan was 3-0 heading into the game against Iowa, and the Hawkeyes handed the Wolverines their first loss of the season. Just because balance has been restored doesn't mean people will quickly forget week one.

The memes, social media posts, and ire will continue to be directed at the Wolverines, especially with recent history painting a negative picture of the program.
