Team USA has cruised through the 2025 FIBA Women's AmeriCup, including a dominating performance against the Dominican Republic in their last game.

The USA dominated the Dominican Republic from start to finish, with six players scoring in double-digits. They jumped out to an early 30-11 lead after the first quarter and never looked back.

The team also racked up 31 steals, the most by any team in the AmeriCup since 2003.

Iowa Women's Basketball forward Hannah Stuelke had another solid performance, tallying 10 points and eight rebounds in the dominating 66-point victory.

After their July 4 contest against the Dominican Republic, the USA took on Canada in a defensive struggle on July 5.

The game was back-and-forth through most of the first half, with Canada taking a slim 14-12 lead into the second quarter. Team USA would take the lead, only to lose it in the final minutes of the quarter as Canada took a narrow 33-31 halftime lead.

The game remained close until the final minute of the third quarter when the USA took a three-point lead.

Team USA would push the lead as high as 13 points before Canada cut the lead to eight. The USA pushed the lead back to 12 as the final buzzer sounded, securing a 65-53 victory over Canada.

The USA tallied 17 steals and blocked 10 shots as they used suffocating defense to overcome Canada.

Hannah Hidalgo lead Team USA in scoring with 19 points, and added four rebounds and four assists. Stuelke finished the game with two points and five rebounds in 18 minutes.

Team USA will face Brazil in a gold medal rematch on July 6 at 7:10 p.m. Central Time.
