What a season it has been for Indiana star wide receiver Elijah Sarratt.
Sarratt has been extremely productive at every stop he's made from Saint Francis University to James Madison to Indiana.
The star wide receiver burst onto the national scene last season after following head coach Curt Cignetti from James Madison University to Indiana, and he quickly established himself as one of college football's top receivers.
In two seasons with the Hoosiers, Sarratt has put up 1,759 total receiving yards and 23 touchdowns, 15 of them coming this season.
Sarratt continues to make headlines on the field, but it is a hilarious quote he had off the field that has people talking.
Sarratt named his dog "CC" after Caitlin Clark
During preparation for the 2026 National Championship, Sarratt engaged reporters during his media availability, and made a funny revelation about his dog's name.

In a statement that could anger some Indiana Hoosiers fans, Sarratt mentioned that he will miss his time in Indiana and his apartment with his dog, whom he named CC.
However, his dog is not named in honor of his head coach, Curt Cignetti, but rather in honor of former Iowa and current Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark.
Sarratt playfully stated that it might make some Hoosiers fans mad, but he did not name his dog after his coach.
Sarratt has been a revelation for the Hoosiers' offense and is projected to be a top wide receiver in the 2026 NFL Draft.
It will make Iowa and Indiana Fever fans happy that the star wide receiver named his dog after Caitlin Clark, and wish him and the Hoosiers the best against Miami in th National Championship game.
