Two long-time college football head coaches clash in Piscataway, New Jersey, for Iowa and Rutgers' first Big Ten Conference matchup.

Iowa Head Coach Kirk Ferentz is in year No. 27 at the helm of the Hawkeyes, and recently earned win No. 206 as Iowa's head coach.

After achieving win No. 206, Ferentz became the Big Ten's all-time leader in wins, passing legendary Ohio State Head Coach Woody Hayes.

Ferentz boats a 206-125 (128-88 Big Ten) record at Iowa, including a 10-11 record in Bowl games during his tenure.

Rutgers Head Coach Greg Schiano is in his second stint with the program after leaving in 2012 to be the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

After a brief stint out of football, he return as an assistant head coach/defensive coordinator with Ohio State (2017-2018), before rejoining Rutgers in 2020.

At the beginning of his weekly press conference, Schiano congratulated Ferentz for breaking the Big Ten wins record and stated that "he is one of the guys I respect the most in coaching."

The two long-time head coaches clash in a Friday Night matchup at SHI Stadium in New Jersey, and Rutgers announced the venue is sold out for the game.

SHI Stadium holds close to 54,000 fans, and it will be at capacity on Friday Night.

For Rutgers' first Big Ten matchup against the Hawkeyes, the crowd will be donned in all black for a "black out."

The official website for Rutgers athletics released a complete timeline for the game against Iowa, starting with the opening of the boardwalk at 3:00 p.m. Central Time and the opening of the gates to SHI Stadium at 5:00 p.m. Central Time.

Rutgers is going all out to support the team during their first conference game and Iowa is looking to spoil their party by coming out of the game with their fist conference win.
